The "open stage" project is multi-faceted, this collaboration between Dj Mini and the [SAT] will first result in 3 main approaches : performance, education, collaboration.
In order to bring the Scenic broadcasting software to visitors Rideau’s annual conference, and make use of the Scenic Box developed by the [SAT], Evelyne and her collaborators are prepared an interactive micro-experience linking various theatrical arts spaces in the province of Québec City and Area.
Evelyne Drouin proposed concepts that can make use of the Scenic box as a deployment tool, which will be acquired by SATs network of partners.
A first micro-experiment was presented on February 13, 2017, Rideau was the place of broadcast, and the studio Transform of SAT was the remote location of the creation process where Evelyne performed alongside Naoto Hieda and the SAT Metalab team.
Scènes ouvertes was initiated by the Société des arts technologiques and is part of the Québec Digital Culture Plan of the Ministry of Culture and Communications.
